Oak View Seniors Club
History
The Oakview Club was formed in 1973 and a New Horizons grant was utilized to build an addition to the Legion Hall and purchase equipment.
Goals and Objectives
The objective of the club is to provide social interaction, entertainment, and recreational activities for senior citizens.
Other Information
The club meets at the Legion Hall on Thursday afternoon at 1:30 p.m., each week from September through May. The last Thursday of the month is a pot luck dinner at noon. The club has a Hallowe'en masquerade and a Christmas party. Club members actively participate in the Westman Seniors Games and host District and Regional Shuffleboard and 500 competitions.
Membership is $15.00 and anyone 55+ years old is welcome to join.
