4-H is an organization for rural youth between the ages of 8 and 19.
4-H is a great idea for many reasons:
It helps the youth to become more responsible and contributing citizens
Members learn and develop new skills such as communications (public speaking), leadership, self-esteem
Opportunities to meet new people
Travel Opportunities
Have lots of fun

Our club has been active for many years.  We have monthly meetings starting in September and ending in May.  

In the past we have
Held a local craft sale
Enjoyed Pik-A-Day in Brandon where members go to learn a new skill, meet new people and have fun
Attended Remembrance Day Service
Held Christmas parties, such as bowling and pizza
Held communications, which is public speaking which really helps our youth to feel more confident when speaking in front of people.
Curling bonspiels
Participated in Highway Clean-up
Achievement - where the members get to display the projects they worked so hard on throughout the year.
Attended Rally, which is a fun-filled day of games, crafts, etc.

2008:
